Output 1.1 Child-friendly justice system enhanced to provide comprehen-sive support for refugee children and those in host communities, who are victims witnesses of violence and in conflict with the law. Within the project, a Barnahus centre in the central region of Moldova will be established, completing the nationwide network of three regional centres.

Output 1.2 Comprehensive frameworks for the prevention of violence against refugee children and those in host communities are established. Gender-transformative parenting programmes for violence prevention will be expanded and institutionalized. Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) initiatives to promote positive social norms around caregiving, non-violent discipline, and gender equality in parenting will be rolled out.

Output 1.3 Access to quality inclusive education in 6 new targeted districts is ensured for refugee children and those in host communities by creating resource centres and related infrastructure (playgrounds). Transdisciplinary teams in these 6 districts will be established and trained to implement family-centred approach in ECI.

Output 1.4 Additional early childhood intervention (ECI) services for young children are established and operationalized in targeted (at least 4) districts covering refugee children and children in host communities with developmental delays and disabilities.

Output 1.5 Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) infrastructure in 10 targeted kindergartens are improved, and a monitoring system institutionalized to ensure refugee children and those in host communities have access to safely managed WASH and Climate, Energy, Environment and Dis-aster Risk Reduction (CEED) services, with regular collection of nationwide disaggregated data.

Output 2.1 The national system has strengthened capacities to provide a child protection and care system to identify and respond to violence against refugee women and children, and those in host communities.

Output 2.2 Inclusive education strengthened through building lasting connections between schools, teachers, and caregivers, for refugee families and host communities. The provision of assistive technologies to additional schools will be expanded. An inter-ministerial coordination mechanism to create a streamlined procedure for assessing refugee children and those in host communities with disabilities and/or of ethnic minorities needs for assistive technologies, referrals, provision, and training on their usage will be developed.

Output 2.3 Refugee adolescents and those in host communities are empowered through skills development, leadership, and social cohesion interventions within strengthened MER youth structures. Support the establishment of youth STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) clubs within national and regional youth structures, reaching refugee youth and youth from host communities.

Output 2.4 Access of refugees and vulnerable adolescents and those in host communities to Youth Friendly Health Services (YFHS) improved, through Mobile Clinics.

Output 2.5 WASH SBC interventions conducted to improve hand hygiene, proper use of the WASH facilities, preserving the water resources, and environmentally friendly and safely managed sanitation systems in targeted schools.

Output 3.1 Cash Transfers and Social Services Programmes (Cash Plus Services) respond more effectively to address the complex needs of vulnerable refugee families and those in host communities with children.

Output 3.2 The Social Protection System responds rapidly to crises and shocks, through shock-responsive social assistance reform and expansion of coverage of social protection programmes to refugee families with vulnerable children and those in host communities.
