O1. Anti-corruption education of youth and adults in Edinet district.

O2. Increase the level of prevention of corruption risks in local public administration and subordinate institutions.

AO People for People aims to contribute to raising awareness and informing citizens of Edinet district, especially young people, about the importance of their involvement in activities to prevent and fight corruption and to estimate the true social cost of corruption. In this context, a series of information and empowerment activities for young people will be organized. One of the activities is the training of teams of anti-corruption trainers among young people, exchanges of experience and study visits to relevant institutions in the Republic of Moldova, the organization of essay competitions among children, and an information campaign on transparency for health. 

The project activities will take place in 21 localities of Edinet district: mun. Edinet, or. Cupcini, s. Bratuseni, s. Fetesti, s. Gordinesti, s. Trinca, s. Burlanesti, s. Viisoara, s. Cuconestii Noi, s. Volodeni, s. Zabriceni, s. Hlinaia, s. Hincauti, s. Ruseni, s. Parcova, s. Alexandreni, s. Gaspar, s. Constantinovca, s. Dhiurt, s. Cepeliuti, s. Lopatnic.

-        20 representatives of LPAs, NGOs, and institutions subordinated to the RC.

-        40 LPA officials.

-        388 young people trained.

-        60% of the Edinet district population was informed about corruption risks.
