The project
envisages a range of modern solutions and actions to enhance the service
capacity of the target sectors, such as:
I. Measures
to improve peaceful coexistence between refugees and local communities
through the establishment and expansion of joint formats between Ukrainian
refugees and parts of the host communities, e.g., in the form of cultural and
recreational activities in cooperation with local administrations, schools and
youth centres
II. Implement
selected needs-based endowment measures and establishment of medico-social
day care centres with mobile teams providing
professional, stational and mobile primary care, with a larger geographical
coverage, and
III. Improving
the usability of social services for the elderly, people with disabilities,
children and youth, through a participatory analysis of barriers and development
needs. Conduct a
comprehensive capacity development programme with a focus on refugee context- and conflict-sensitive Psychosocial
Support (PSS) aimed to strengthen the public service providers’ resilience to faced adversities in
communication and their capacity to prevent and counteract conflicts, bullying
and violence between the Ukrainian refugees and hosting communities.
A
harmonised implementation of above actions is aimed to contribute to the
alleviation of the current situation in the short and mid-term perspectives in
poorer districts of Moldova mostly affected by the refugee influx.
