1. Increasing the capacities to prevent and combat corruption among young people, teachers and parents;

2. Raising awareness of citizens about the prevention of corruption in education;

3. Strengthening organizational capacities;

This project aims to raise awareness of citizens and civil society about the consequences of corruption, as well as approaches to reduce and prevent corruption in the education sector. This objective is achieved through the connectivity of all planned activities, starting with increasing the capacities of the main actors in the educational system, which are the pupils and teachers, to the awareness of all citizens who are also directly involved in this field, regardless of the status of a person, either parent, grandfather, etc.

Cahul municipality, Slobozia Mare and Giurgiulesti villages in Cahul district.

The beneficiaries of the project are students and teachers from 3 high schools in 3 localities: "I. Voda" LT from mun. Cahul,
"M. Sadoveanu" LT from Giurgiulesti village and "M. Eminescu" LT from Slobozia Mare village, Cahul district. Each locality will involve 25 people (15 students, 10 teachers).

Also, the citizens of the 3 localities involved in the project, about 1 500 people from each locality, will become beneficiaries of the project.
The total estimated number of beneficiaries of the project will be around 5 000 people.

The main stakeholders involved in the project are 3 partner high schools from 3 localities: "I. Voda" LT from mun. Cahul,
"M. Sadoveanu" LT from Giurgiulesti village and "M. Eminescu" LT from Slobozia Mare village, Cahul district.

Quantitative:

  • 3 secondary education institutions from Cahul district involved in the project actions;
  • Student councils are trained in the prevention, identification and fight against corruption;
  • 45 young people and volunteers, direct beneficiaries are involved in actions to prevent and combat corruption;
  •  six training workshops on corruption in the educational sphere are conducted;
  • 3 social theatre plays are created as a method of changing attitudes and behavior toward corruption.
  •  about 1000 students will understand the impact of irresponsible behavior, which favors corruption;
  • 30 teachers are trained on the phenomenon of corruption in the educational sphere;
  • a public information campaign to prevent and combat corruption involving young people, is carried out in three localities of Cahul district;
  • video-graphic in combatting corruption is designed;
  • about 10000 citizens from the Southern region are informed via the infographic about the negative consequences of corruption;
  • 2 press releases about the project

Qualitative:

  • Consolidating and developing the capacities of three student councils in the field of anti-corruption mechanisms, prevention and fight against corruption;

Educational institutions in Cahul district are involved in promoting anti-corruption.
