O1. Create new community opportunities for young people in Soroca district in the field of corruption prevention, based on more effective tools for their interaction with justice and related institutions and alternative solutions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic;

O2. Strengthen the DACIA CRT AO with information and empowerment of young people in the Soroca district on their rights and local mechanisms for access to justice and prevention of corruption.

AO DACIA Youth Resource Centre (AO CRT DACIA) is a CSO specializing in working with young people, knows through its experience of over 17 years, a multitude of cases, whereby young people have been violated in their rights for various reasons, where most common cases, these were related to ignorance, lack of information, lack of trust in the justice sector, including the insufficient capacity of CSOs to intervene to help them in time.

The DACIA Centre is committed to engaging, educating, and supporting young people to act for a climate of integrity that allows for the individual development of these future leaders. Implementing the YOUTH Project - Fight against corruption! provides anti-corruption training activities for young people. Aiming to raise awareness among citizens in the Northern region of Moldova, especially among young people, about the importance of their involvement in activities to prevent and fight corruption.

Activities planned under the project:

Anti-corruption lessons, 48 lessons involving more than 720 young people.

Debates to raise awareness and inform young people online about corruption prevention, 6 debates involving more than 10 people in the field of anti-corruption prevention.

Flashmob "Be Free, Say NO to Corruption", a flashmob will be organized, involving more than 50 young people.

4. "Open Doors Day" in the Prosecutor's Office and the Court of the Municipality of Chisinau. Soroca, 2 activities will be organized with the involvement of 60 young people from the Soroca district.

5. Summer school "YOUNG PEOPLE-can fight against corruption!", 1 summer school will be organized involving 50 young people from the Soroca district.

6. Report on young people's perception of corruption in Soroca district and its risks.

For the promotion and media coverage of the project, AO CRT DACIA has all the necessary equipment for this purpose: professional cameras, video cameras, and media equipment to ensure live broadcasts.

 

Approximately 1000 young people aged 14-35 from the Soroca district (especially those from rural areas; young Roma and other ethnic minorities)

About 4000 young beneficiaries through online information and awareness-raising activities.

Indirect beneficiaries of the project:

Parents of the young people involved in the project, or who will benefit from the project interventions;

school teachers, APL, Public Prosecutor's Office, and Court.
