A corrupt country cannot develop from the social and economic point of view, as corruption is the main reason which hampers the development of the country. We must encourage youth to report the cases of corruption they encounter and to explain them that the procedure is confidential and safe. The main reason for which the corruption cases in Moldova are not reported is because people are afraid that their identity will go public, and they will experience sufferings because of this in the future, remaining part of a corrupt society.

The project proposes to conduct the campaign “DO NOT BRIBE YOUR FUTURE” in Leova district for raising the awareness and educating the population, public service employees, health professionals, teachers and high school students about the phenomenon of corruption, to obtain public disapproval on corruption and denounce the corruption cases and discuss about the rights related to benefit from free services within public institutions.

The team of Progres-Sud CSO will encourage audiences to declare zero tolerance towards corruption, by notifying the responsible bodies about any known corruption cases in their locality through all communication channels – written request, by email or through

the National Anti-corruption line 0 800 55555 which works 24/24.

In the framework of campaign, a Mobile Population Information Centre will be established on Stefan cel Mare Square from Leova, where informative materials will be distributed and the citizens will be informed about the possibilities of denouncing the cases of corruption.

The target group is the young generation – the pupils of the schools from Leova district. In the information activities both genders will be involved.

For ensuring that different social groups are informed, the leaflets will be distributed to the inhabitants of Leova district, monitoring the proportional inclusion of different age categories and social classes.

At least 3 young persons will have the chance to assert themselves in the field of volunteering and social activism.
