1. Inform and raise the awareness of about 300 young people and 50 representatives of public institutions about the importance of preventing and combating corruption at local level by developing zero tolerance towards corruption among citizens.

2. Identification of tools and mechanisms for preventing corruption in local public institutions.

3. Train the skills of monitoring the decision-making process, transparency, access to information and civic involvement in preventing and combating corruption for at least 200 young people and citizens.

Ecological Movement Stefan Voda through this project will encourage young people and citizens from Stefan Voda to actively participate in the democratic decision-making process, will consult young people and citizens, representatives of the local public administration with priority problems raised by the local residents and potential ways of solution at the local level, will submit recommendations for programs, national and international policies and strategies related to the sustainable development of the community, establish a collaboration and communication pyramid between civil society, local public administration and citizens, which in turn will strengthen citizens' involvement in preventing and fighting corruption, as well as public awareness on the consequences of corruption and ways to prevent and fight corruption.

Stefan Voda town 

-          At least 200 young people and pupils who will participate directly in the processes of combating and preventing corruption in school and high school;

-         At least 200 young people are trained and empowered;

-         At least 200 young people, participants in civic actions (survey);

-         100 beneficiaries within public institutions are informed;

-         1 council of young guardsmen who will work in the field of anti-corruption ;

-         15 000 citizens of the city indirect beneficiaries;

-     Local public institutions.

Quantitative:

l  At least 200 young people are informed about the tools and mechanisms of informing citizens about the phenomenon of corruption and the fight against it.

l  21 young people are trained and empowered on the topics of protection of young people in corruption acts.

l  10 young actors have promoted through theatre plays an act of prevention of corruption, 1000 young people and children from  Causeni and Anenii Noi district watched the theatre play.

l  At least 3 cases are reported to the Youth Council for the Prevention and Elimination of corruption

l  2 programmes are broadcasted, the coverage grid is South-East region of Moldova (over 35000 informed persons)

l  1 audio spot and 1 video spot are broadcasted, (over 70000 people from Stefan Voda, Causeni, Aneni-Noi, Falesti, Chisinau, Balti districts are informed)

l  300 young people and pupils, 100 parents and 60 teachers are informed about the mechanisms of protection of young people’s rights, the right to access public information, involvement in decision-making processes, abilities to prevent corruption acts in the locality.

l  60 persons are informed and trained about the consequences of corruption, as well as approaches to reduce and prevent corruption in public institutions, including 40 young people, 2 parents’ Associations, 4 civil servants from the City Hall, Education Directorate, rational Youth Council.

l  enhanced level of anti-corruption culture and anticorruption awareness among young people is conducted by 20 young people through debate sessions.

l  300 young people from Stefan Voda town, localities of the National Park from Stefan Voda and Causeni districts are interviewed, 1 evaluation report is prepared and distributed in the social networks, school magazine, media, district magazine, priest-info.

l  harnessing and promotion of good practices of preventing and reducing the acts of corruption by involving 200 youth , 100 citizens at the festival of civic initiatives.

Qualitative:

l  Young people perceive the mechanisms of preventing and combating corruption

l  Young people developed skills on the topics of reducing and preventing corruption

l  Young people have critical thinking skills and become promoters of democratic values based on respect for human rights and legitimate interests

l  The people feel the support of the authorities. NGOs in overcoming problems, including problems generated corruption at both local and national level.

l  Young people promote good practices of preventing and reducing corruption in other regions of Moldova.

The population is aware of the need to increase the level of civic culture and by strengthening the capacity, accountability and transparency of public institutions in the fight against corruption, improving the dialog with civil society.

Facilitate the active involvement of young people in the decision-making process and encourage them in promoting good anti-corruption practices by developing zero tolerance toward corruption at local level.
