Objective 1: empowerment of at least 30 young people from Cantemir district in the field of corruption, prevention in the education sector and promotion of anti-corruption mechanisms, until the end of April 2023.

Objective 2: Improve the awareness of citizens, students, managers of educational institutions from Cantemir district about the danger of the phenomenon of corruption and the importance of preventing it through effective mechanisms, until the end of July 2023.

Objective 3: increase the knowledge of representatives of public institutions and citizens by developing a guide with good practices and tools to fight corruption by the end of July 2023.

By empowering and involving young people in promoting solutions about the danger of corruption, the project will demonstrate that young people care about the community in which they live, contribute to raising awareness on the problem and empower local authorities to promote transparency and seek to increase citizens' trust in the work of institutions. This intervention is guaranteed by transforming young citizens from passive beneficiaries of corruption into agents of change, partners in promoting transparent and accountable governance.

This project aims to reach more target groups (civil servants, students, parents, teachers, citizens, young people) because in this way the impact of activities to prevent and combat corruption will be greater and will cover more people in the district.

Cantemir district (town Cantemir, communes of Antonesti, Baimaclia, Ciobalaccia, Cania, Capaclia, Gotesti, Pleseni, Plopi, Larguta)

The direct beneficiaries are 30 young people aged 14 - 25 from Cantemir district (boys and girls, from socially vulnerable groups, people with some kind of disability will be involved, representatives of ethnic minorities).

Qualitative:

·       30 young people from Cantemir district know and are able in the field of corruption prevention

·       At least 10 localities / public institutions are informed and sensitized about the importance of increasing intolerance to corruption in education

·       At least 500 citizens from these localities are aware of the importance of increasing intolerance to corruption in education

·       30 young people know public communication tools and mechanisms to prevent and combat corruption;

·       At least 200 students from various educational institutions (including their parents) contribute to the awareness of the danger of corruption in the educational system and increase the involvement of citizens in combating the phenomenon of corruption

·       At least 15 managers of educational institutions in the district know how to prevent and combat corruption in the education system

·       At least 100 officials from various public institutions sensitized to the subject

·       At least 500 citizens from different localities of the district know the good practices and mechanisms used in preventing and combating corruption by reading the guide

At least 1500 young fellows are informed online about activities to promote the importance of combating corruption in general and in the field of Education.
