1. Examination of the level of awareness of the inhabitants of Vulcanesti district’s villages about the phenomenon of corruption, its consequences, tolerance towards corruption.

2. Awareness of the district’s inhabitants on corruption, the consequences, methods of preventing and fighting against corruption. 

3. Establishment of an youth initiative group that will take part in the decision-making process and monitoring of procurements in the town hall of Chismikioi village.


The project will inform the inhabitants about the forms of corruption, the consequences of corruption on society, the methods of preventing and combatting corruption. A great emphasis will be put on pupils and youths, thus an active position against corruption in the community will be created.

Youths - volunteers (5 girls / 5 boys),

town hall of Chismikioi village - 32 people (14 men /18 women),

town hall of Etulia village - 18 people (7 men / 10 women).

Theoretical High School from Chismikioi,

House of Children's Creativity from the village of Chismikioi,

145 employees of public institutions from Chismikioi and Etulia villages who will participate in information sessions (79 women, 66 men),

4 672 inhabitants of Chishmikioi village (2 426 women, 2 243 men), of whom 1 617 young people, 978 pensioners,

3 150 inhabitants of Etulia village (1 638 women, 1 512 men), including 1 049 young people and 684 pensioners.

- 20 people attended the launch of the project,

- A youth initiative group has been set up and is present at council meetings,

- 247 inhabitants of Chismikioi village and 198 inhabitants of Etulia were interviewed, a report on a survey on the topic of corruption problems was presented.

- 2 000 copies of informative leaflets on the topic of anti-corruption were produced, printed and distributed.

- 10 information sessions were held in Chismikioi and Etruria, 145 employees of public institutions were informed.

- 4 information banners were made up and installed in the center of Chismikioi village - Anticorruption Alley.

- An anti-corruption video spot is developed and distributed in the social networks and mass media.

- An Anti-Corruption Quest with 30 participants from Chismikioi and Etulia was held.

- An anti-corruption cartoon competition with 50 participants was held. The winners were awarded with memorable prizes. 

- 5 information boards displaying official information on behalf of the City Hall were installed in Chismikioi and 3 in Etulia villages, 

- Anti-corruption video contest with 30 participants was held. The winners received prizes.

- Tables and chairs for the meetings of the local council of the village of Chismikioi were purchased. They area meant to accommodate the mayor, the secretary, 13 councillors, specialists from the town hall and the guests who want to attend the council meeting.

- 1 camera, 1 computer, 1 video capture device, 1 camera stand, 1 microphone for sound recording were purchased, the town hall website administrator was trained. There are live broadcasts of the meetings of the local council of the village of Chismikioi. The specialist of the town hall has all the necessary equipment to ensure the transparency of the decision-making process of the local council meetings.

- Two laptops for the specialist in tenders of the Chismikioi and Etulia town hall have been purchased. The specialists are trained to handle the device for ensuring the proper work in the fight against corruption, 

- Two high quality multifunctional printers have been purchased for Chismikioi and Etulia town hall. This equipment will allow the specialists of the town halls to work efficiently, to ensure transparency and fight against corruption,

- 10 information pickets were organised in the centre of Cismikioi and Etulia villages. Each picket is attended by 4 volunteers, a tent and a folding table are used. At least 50 people per 1 picket are informed, in total 500 inhabitants of Chismikioi and Etulia villages.

- The initiative group participated in at least 8 meetings of the local council, specialized committees, public hearings,

- A regulation on the functioning of the official website of the town hall was drafted and approved,

- The Regulation on tenders conducted by the town hall is elaborated and approved.

- The regulation on the functioning of the town hall's tenders was drafted and approved,

- The initiative group has participated at the elaboration of the Strategy of social and economic development of the village of Chismikioi for the years 2023-2027. The strategy includes elements on ensuring the transparency and fight against corruption.

- A final sociological survey was conducted, 127 inhabitants from Etulia village and 168 residents of Chismikioi village were interviewed, an analytical report was prepared.

- The final event of the project attended by 30 people was held, the results of the report and the project were presented. The information was disseminated in social networks and mass media.


Raising awareness of 4 624 inhabitants from Chismikioi village, 3 140 inhabitants from Etulia commune, Vulcanesti town about corruption, its consequences, methods of fighting and counteracting it.
