1. Improvement of operational and strategic planning in the field of educational infrastructure of Ungheni municipality;

2. Facilitating access to local public services for the citizens of Ungheni municipality

Enrolling in an educational institution is often a stressful situation for parents, especially when it is their first experience. Lack of knowledge on how the schools are allocated to the street, what the registration priorities are, when registration starts, how old the child has to be, what places are available in one school or another are just some of the issues that cause parents headaches.

According to the data presented by Ungheni municipality, only in kindergartens in the city are trained about 2000 children, and in schools about 4500 pupils. At the level of kindergarten there is a shortage of over 320 places, and at the level of high schools there is over-demand for certain institutions.

The current paper-based procedures are not conducive to transparent processes and can create the feeling among parents that the line is tainted by the institution's administration when they are informed that there are no more places in the institution.

Thus, through this project we intend to make a map of the educational system in Ungheni municipality and develop a study on the risks and for online enrollment at all educational institutions in Ungheni. We believe that a digital solution would make the enrollment process more transparent, would reduce the registration time at an educational institution from 168 hours to 15 minutes, but also would increase the prestige of the local education system. Thus, the final result of the project will be the realization of the first digital public service in Ungheni municipality - online registration for kindergartens.
