1. Conclusion of a cooperation agreement with the Cantemir District Council;

2. Drafting of a progress report on the Anti-Corruption Action Plan for 2021-2024;

3. Development of an online tool managed on a daily basis for the submission of complaints/complaints;

4. Information campaign (collection of anti-corruption risks in the district, popularization of the online tool through anti-corruption cards).

In a chance to synchronize efforts with the local administration, we plan to conduct a communication campaign for 15 000 inhabitants of Cantemir district, which according to data delivered by Meta platforms, uses social and messaging networks Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

 “Awareness of risks and corruption prevention measures in Cantemir District” project aims at contributing both to the more dynamic implementation of the districtual anti-corruption measures plan, but also to raise the public awareness on the risks of corruption and how they can defend themselves from this scourge.

The project team will develop and implement a communication campaign with a target of 15 000 people in order to contribute to zero tolerance towards the phenomenon of corruption among Cantemir citizens of the Republic of Moldova. On the other hand, the project will contribute to the development of new mechanisms and tools for informing and combating corruption in Cantemir district because we will contribute to the implementation of the Districtual Anti-corruption measures. A plan, where a range of activities which after implementation will increase the local transparency and will provide tools for citizens to react to violations and abuses.

At district council level, the project team will work mainly with the administrative department, as this sub-division of the council is directly responsible for anti-corruption policies, data systematization and process coordination. We believe that the help given to the service will be important because a small subdivision like this one has a very important role in the anti-corruption policy at district level and it needs additional support in terms of expertise.

Citizens of Cantemir district

15 000 citizens will learn about the new online tool of filing complaints and petitions. They will be informed about the risks of corruption and what they can do when they are subjected to it.
