Cultivating the intolerance
of the citizens of Criuleni and Dubasari to manifestations of corruption and
enhancing the climate of institutional integrity in the medical institutions of
Criuleni and Dubasari (Criuleni District Hospital and Criuleni Healthcare
Center and Dubasari Health Center) during 12 months.
The project will
contribute to increasing the intolerance of the inhabitants of Criuleni and
Dubasari to manifestations of corruption in the medical system. In this regard,
activities will be carried out to measure the residents' perception of the
phenomenon of corruption in health by conducting questionnaires. They will be
carried out at the beginning and end of the project. Persons - victims of
corruption will be provided legal support in claiming the rights to health and
quality treatment. There will also be organized activities to inform and raise
awareness of the inhabitants of Criuleni and Dubasari about the negative impact
of corruption in the health sector and ways to prevent corruption, and to
promote an upright behavior.
Another objective
of the project is to cultivate the professional integrity of the medical staff
of IMSP Criuleni District Hospital and Criuleni Health Centre and Dubasari
Health Centre. In order to achieve the objective, several activities will be
carried out, including: scanning the profiles of the official websites of the
monitored institutions in order to ensure their compliance with the provisions
of HG no.188/2012; analysis of the declarations of assets and personal
interests submitted to NIA by the subjects of the declaration during the last 3
years; development/adjustment of integrity policies (registers, regulations,
instructions); monitoring of public procurement carried out within IMSP
Criuleni Hospital and IMSP Criuleni Health Centre and IMSP Dubasari for the
years 2021-2023. Similarly, trainings of health professionals in the field of
integrity will be organized.
In order to cultivate zero
tolerance for corruption, citizens will be encouraged to report corruption.
