O1. Contribution to community involvement in reducing corruption at the level of institutions in the municipality. Balti through constructive dialogue between the Local Public Administration, the community (CSOs, civic activists), and the representatives of the institutions.

O2. Change attitudes among young people in the north of the country to adopt a more proactive attitude toward identifying corruption issues.

The Balti Local Transparency Board (CLTB) project is in line with both objectives of the grant program for the northern region of the country and aims to raise awareness among the inhabitants of the municipality of Balti. Balti (including Sadovoe and Elizaveta) on the phenomenon of corruption through information and training activities for a group of young people on national mechanisms to prevent and combat corruption, as well as on the consequences of corruption, through various interactive (youth-friendly) activities in the target districts of the project. It is planned to create/consolidate the CLTB with the aim of improving transparency and monitoring the work of various public institutions in the municipality. Balti. CLTB will operate within the local public administration of the municipality. Balti, according to an operating regulation to be developed. The target groups of the project are young people, active citizens, and representatives of various state institutions in the municipality. Balti, as well as representatives of local CSOs involved in preventing and fighting corruption. It is proposed to ensure the functionality of the CLTB by organizing and coordinating at least 8 thematic meetings and 4 organizational meetings. The activity will be organized: the Academy "Corruption is no longer fashionable" for young people aged 16-19 years old, from secondary school classes in the target districts, 11 sessions will be held, with at least 20 young people participating, for 5 hours. Involving young people in anti-corruption activities will contribute to the formation of a core of future professionals with the idea of "zero" tolerance towards corruption. (Educational) investments in young people are always long-term.

The Balti Local Transparency Council will operate in the Municipality of Balti, and activities for young people will be carried out in all 11 target districts of the project: Briceni, Ocnita, Edinet, Soroca, Dondușeni, Drochia, Rîșcani, Glodeni, Fălești, Florești and Sîngerei.

-  At least 30 participants at the closing event;

-  11 sessions of the Anti-Corruption Academy organized for young people from Briceni, Ocnita, Edinet, Soroca, Dondoseni, Drochia, Riscani, Glodeni, Falesesti, Floresti, Singerei districts;

-   220 young people aged 16-19 from the north of the country, participating in the Anti-Corruption Academy are more proactive and more involved in identifying acts of corruption and have an intolerant spirit towards this phenomenon.

Raising awareness of the inhabitants of the mun. Balti for involvement in the prevention and fight against corruption, transparency, and integrity through the establishment and functioning of the Local Transparency Council.
